About the Role
Mathematics can either be a student’s favorite subject or their biggest anxiety. We are looking for an inspiring Mathematics teacher who can remove math phobia, make algebra and geometry engaging, and build unwavering confidence in Class 9th and 10th students preparing for CBSE board examinations.
What You’ll Work On
- Deliver concept-first mathematics lectures for Class 9th and 10th school batches.
- Train students on NCERT textbook problems, NCERT Exemplar questions, and past 10-year board papers.
- Run dedicated speed-math and logical reasoning workshops for Olympiad (NSO/PRMO) aspirants.
- Host daily doubt-resolution hours for students needing extra practice with proofs and calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure complete and thorough syllabus coverage well in advance of school pre-board examinations.
- Teach step-by-step answer writing techniques that maximize board exam scoring.
- Conduct regular weekly quizzes and chapter-end tests to track conceptual gaps.
- Communicate proactively with parents regarding homework completion and test performance.
Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or B.Ed in Mathematics.
- At least 2 years of experience teaching Class 9th and 10th Mathematics under CBSE/ICSE curricula.
- Exemplary problem-solving speed and ability to explain theorems clearly on a physical whiteboard.
- Comfortable communicating in bilingual mode (English & Hindi) for maximum student comprehension.
Nice to Have
- Experience preparing students for NTSE or Mathematics Olympiads.
- Hands-on experience creating chapter-wise formula revision charts and summary sheets.
